Vintage RAF watches

by Jacob DeMenna

Hello,

I received a vintage Omega watch for Christmas with the following markings on the back:

6b/159
A14067

It keeps great time, and I love the look of it. I would like to learn a little bit more about it. So far I have found that it is RAF from WWII, but I would like to learn a little but more about the serial number. Does anyone have any resources for vintage serial codes or know anything more about this model?

Thanks,
Jacob

Sounds like an interesting watch

there were a few versions of the 6b/159. If you could post images of the front and back it would be helpful. A good resources for military watches is The Concise Guide to Military Timepieces 1880-1990
