Vintage Omega watch Vintage Omega watch

I have a vintage Omega watch that I just love. however it never keeps accurate time and it runs slow that I have to set the time every other day.

I had the watch serviced a few times already with no big improvement.

I would like to buy a new Omega watch that looks like my vintage Omega watch.

I need your help in recommending a model that looks like my watch - please see attached pictures.
in advance

Very nice watch

You have a beautiful vintage Omega, probably from the 1950's. One thing to remember about vintage watches, is that they are like any other mechanical device and will wear over time. That is why it might be difficult to adjust to keep perfect time. I am not sure why the service was not able to correct this, but sounds to me like the watch might need an overhaul. This will be expensive.

If you are looking for a watch to replace this one, that will be a challenge. Nothing really still exists in the Omega lineup that is similar. You might want to have a look at the De Ville Prestige small seconds. like the model 4813.50.01
