Unkown Omega watch

by P Hitt

I recently inherited an Omega watch and can not for love or money find any information of the watch anywhere. Could you please help?

Face is plain with only Omega symbol, no name or model reference, serial number inside back is 2504-15SC and I can not find any reference of it anywhere. 17-jewel and I think the cab is 381 or 351 can not remember right off.

Please help with whatever info you can, am extremely curious as to why it does not bear the Omega name or model, just logo and to what value this could have.

Please find attached some pics

Thanks again
P Hitt

You have a genuine Omega watch

reference number 2504. This watch should house a calibre 280 or 283 movement. The watch was offered from 1946-1954, so it had a pretty long run. The reason your dial does not have any of the markings you indicated is most likely due to the dial being refinished at some point. The watch needs a lot of attention and a redial. Given it's state it is worth about 200-250$
