Seamaster DeVille

I recently inherited a Seamaster DeVille, labeled 24k gold filled. It stops occasionally, and sometimes looses a couple of hours. I am trying to decide if it is worth getting serviced. If so, can you give a suggestion of a good service center. I am located in Central Oregon. Thank you,

Doug Berger

Definitely worth having serviced

Are you sure it says 24K gold filled? 24K would be pure gold and is not used for gold coating or filling. The nearest center to you that I would recommend is Nesbit's in Seattle.

seamaster deville NEW

I too have a seamaster deville, a 1968 model Cal 563. It was in good shape but would sometimes stop or loose several hours time. I sent it to a watchmaker from a Jewelers that carries Omega watches. It needed a new stem, crown and a light polishing. I have it back and it looks brand new and is keeping excellent time within 5 seconds per day.
If this watch has not been exposed to moisture( a watchmaker can do a quick examination) then I think it is well worth the money to get it repaired.
For a new stem and Omega crown, cleaning, lubrication and polishing it cost $400. Well worth it for a classic looking watch.

Through the education a man turns out to be savvier when contrasted with when he was only a secondary school graduate. On the off chance that a man turns out to be cleverer, he/she will have a superior essay heaven services quality life than some time recently.
