If it is marked 750 and 18K it should be solid gold. If it was filled or plated it would say so.

Just to clarify, the numbers represent the amount of pure gold in the alloy, depending where in the world the standard is set.

ie 750 represents 750 parts gold out of a 1000
18k represents 18k out of 24k

therefore in this particular alloy there is 75% pure gold, and the rest is made up of varying amounts of copper, zinc or others
