Omega Vintage Watches:

Our family Omega automatic Seamaster De Ville watch dates probably from the 1960's although I'm not certain about that date. It seems to run fine although I have not done an extended test. It has a few tiny scratches consistent with wear.

The pictures reveal the date feature, the Seamaster emblem on the back, and the Omega symbol on the original Omega band (#570).

Very nice. Looks like an all original Seamaster DeVille
by: OWEx

reference number 166.0020. The movement is likely to be a calibre 562 or 565 and the watch sold from the early 1960's to 1970's. The watch came in 14K or 18K gold. Going this is important to determining the value. The way to find out is to have the watch opened by a professional and recording the information from inside the case. This case design is a unishell, meaning the only way to open the watch is from the top.

I have the exact watch as in photo (seamaster deville) in 14K. It has the same 570 band that is in photo as well. Omega wants 1500. + to refurbish this watch. I am pretty sure the watch is not worth that much. It was my fathers and is inscribed. I had hoped to pass it on to my son. Please advise if it is worth fixing for this price.

Thank you.
