Omega DeVille Automatic

Hi ya,
I'm looking at buying a vintage Omega for my husband's 40th birthday. I've seen one I like but i'm worried that the web-site may sell fakes and I haven't found any way of verifying genuine websites? Do you know any way of checking a website is ligitimate?
I would really appreciate any help you could offer before I buy.

Many thanks

unfortunately there is no way to verify a website, as Omega does not sanction sales over the web. If you post the name of the website and link to the watch you are interested in I might be able to help.

That would be great, thank you, The link is-

REF: 495.113 -

Omega DeVille Auto Day/Date c.1970

Thank you again.

O.k. the watch in the picture is a genuine Omega

and it seems to be in all original condition and correct. You will note that there is some wear to the gold plating (a few spots on the back) and the crown is worn. Asides from that it looks to be in really nice shape.

I cannot say much about the website or the dealer as I have never worked with them before.

Hope this helps.
