Omega Constellation - early 1980s

A watch I received as a gift from my parents.
Haven't worn it in a couple years.
Pretty well used - missing some paint from the roman numerals.
Just got it serviced and a new battery - runs fine - but not in pristine shape.

Looks like a mid 1980's Constellation quartz

with the "half-bar" bracelet style. Most likely this is a reference 396.1076. These are nice watches but have not yet become classics. Depending on the condition these sell in the 800-1000 $ range.

I have one very similar - purchased in 1983. Beware not to leave an old battery in - change battery every year. I did not and battery leaked. Cost me £255 to replace the difficult to obtain movement (premierwatchrepairs bristol). Best to use it as a 'dress' watch - not good for working on the car etc. with - the battery links will stretch.
