Does the crown of Omega watches always have the Omega sign?

1964 Ladies Omega SS 17 Jewels

I just bought a vintage 1964 ladies Omega watch. It is gorgeous, but it has a plain crown. Is this normal for Omega watches in the 1960's?

I am wondering if this is OK or I should look for an "Omega crown" to replace it just to make it more "authentic".

Thanks,
Mary

Beautiful Omega from the Sapphette line

Your watch should have a signed crown. In order to get the correct crown the watch technician will need to open the watch and get the correct numbers from the inside. So I would suggest taking it to a experienced watchmaker.

I have an Omega almost identical to this one but mine says ladymatic on the face and Lunette on the inside of the back with the numbers D10776 hand engraved. Also has 551004 printed. Please share any info you have on this watch! thank you!

I think I have the same years watch in mens.(no collection name) I checked with my watch guy and he said the blank crown was correct for this watch/movement.
