Collectible Omega Watches

by Joe T.

Can this watch be considered part of the collectible omega watches?
This men's Omega was bought new about 1980? It is 14kt yellow gold with its reference/case no. being D 6672 (and the other number inside its back is 507601). Stamped on the movement is 17 jewels and also 625 to identify it. Also inside a very small circle is 41 949206 which may be a movement number? It weighs 20 grams without the bracelet.

You have a reference D6672 Omega Men's watch
by: OWEx

From the US collection, produced in the 1965-1974 period. Based on the information you provided and the gold value today, I would estimate the watch is worth around 1000-1200$, if it is in working condition with the box.
