2998=62 speedmaster

omega 2998-62

i have a 2998=62 speedmaster, alfa hands serial num 19.5million range. told the hands are from 70's told the hands are original. told the crown is 66on told is original, the strap is a 7192, is loose fitting so i don't think is right size for watch think it is a 18mm, it has numb 4 stamped on end links.

The hands on your 2998 are Omega hands, but not likely to be the hands the 2998 originally came with. Most of the 2998 had alpha hands. The hands you have on the watch are from the late 70's version. The most obvious sign is the sweep hand - this style appeared much later in the evolution of the Speedmaster. The 7912 bracelet would be correct for this watch. However, it appears you are missing the endlink, which is needed for the bracelet to fit properly.
