I received this watch around 1974 as a gift. I believe at the time the purchase price from a local jeweler was around $700. I can not find any Omega that
resembles it. There are not marks (that I can find) that id's the model.
It needed a tune-up and new crystal which was $307. The man that fixed it told me it was quite valuable but could not give me a figure.
My jeweler offered to purchase it for $465 which was probably what the gold
was worth. I opted to get it fixed.
I need to put it on my jewelry policy. They have an add-on clause which allows any piece valued at under $500 to be put on the policy without a formal appraisal.
In your opinion, what should I do?
PS if you need a better image I can get you one.

THe information regarding the excat model

would be inside the watch case. However, this is easily a watch that would value over 1000$ I would get an appraisal and have it added to your policy.
